 | Our story S&D Childcare Limited has proudly supported children and families for over 13 years, growing into a family of six nurseries across Somerset. In 2013, we opened our first Cuddles & Care nursery in Wells, joining our established setting, Yeovilteenies. Today, we care for more than 300 families across the South West, bringing the same warmth, dedication and personal approach to every setting. From babies as young as three months to preschool children preparing for school, we provide safe, nurturing and inspiring environments where children feel valued, build confidence and develop a love of learning. |

| Area Sencos 💛 Romily Romily supports Wells, Frome and Little Starlings, helping teams recognise children’s needs, adapt their approach and provide tailored support so every child can take part and thrive. 🌟 Milly Milly supports Ilminster, Chard and Yeovilteenies, guiding staff with individual support plans and practical strategies that build on each child’s strengths and development. 🤝 Together, they work closely with families and other professionals, helping create inclusive environments and celebrating every child’s progress, at their own pace. |
| Nursery Management teams Each of our six nurseries has a dedicated team working together to create a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment for every child. 🌟 Nursery Manager & Deputy Lead the daily running of the nursery, support staff and work closely with families to provide consistent, high-quality care. 🧸 Room Leads Guide their room teams, creating engaging experiences that reflect children’s interests and support their learning and development. 🌈 Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) Works with families, staff and our Area SENCOs to identify additional needs and coordinate tailored support. 🛡️ Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Leads safeguarding within the nursery, supporting staff to recognise and respond to concerns and helping keep children safe. 🌿 Sustainability Lead Encourages thoughtful everyday choices, helps reduce our environmental impact and inspires children to care for nature. 💛 Together, our nursery teams bring warmth, experience and a shared commitment to helping every child feel valued, included and ready to thrive. |
